1910 - 1915 Rocking Horse
It is first believed that the rocking horse in its current form appeared in the 17th century.
High members of society, would purchase rocking horses for their young ones as lavish birthday or Christmas gifts.
By the 20th century, there was a decline in rocking horse makers due to the Great Depression and war.
By the 1960's, rocking horse makers were almost completely gone. But in recent years the craft has made a come back.
This model of rocking horse came in three different colors, brown, tan, & white, all of which had the same leather saddle, real horse hair tail, and glass eyes.
