Manufactured in St. Louis, Missouri, between 1950 to 1960. Zany Toy is best known for creations such as the Saucy Walking Doll, The deluxe Tricycle, and The Portable Electronic Organ.
The 1953 Zany Phonograph was a simple yet a genius creation allowing kids to play simple nursary rhymes as they rotate a crank handle that amplifies the music against a piece of red translucent material.
The entire unit is made of Acetate film, iron alloy, plastic organic material, and cadmium.
The whole unit measures 6.25" L x 6.5" W x 5.5" H.
